The new EU Special Envoy to Somalia and former EU Ambassador to Yemen, Michele Cervone d'Urso, has been awarded the "Unity medal" by the President of Yemen. The EU diplomat was honoured for his efforts in consolidating and developing the bilateral relations between Yemen and the European Union. Michele Cervone d'Urso, who recently moved to Somalia to become the first EU Ambassador to Somalia, confirmed " the EU will continue to follow a "people's agenda" supporting unequivocally a flowering Somali Spring".Top News from the European Union
